How to Apply
To apply for the Central PA Workplace Wellness Awards, simply fill out the online application. You will be asked to provide the following:
- Your program's wellness goals.
- Details of your program's wellness initiatives.
- How your program has impacted employees' health and well-being.

The deadline for applications is Friday, June 7th.
What Happens Next?
The CPBGH executive committee and CPBGH staff will review all applications and will select the winners based on the innovativeness and success of the wellness program. There will be one winner per category. Winners will be announced on Friday, June 21st.
Winners will then present their wellness program at our August 7th event. These presentations are to share the strategies and achievements of your program with other like-minded individuals and should be no longer than 10 minutes. After the presentations, winners will gather for a roundtable discussion with attendees.

In what categories can my application be considered?
If your wellness program is employer managed, you can be considered for Best Employee Wellness Program Managed by Employer (Small, Medium, Large Companies) and Most Innovative Wellness Program Managed by Employer. If your wellness program is managed by a third party, you can be considered for Best Employee Wellness Program Managed by a Third Party Vendor.
My company has multiple campuses in the Central PA area. Do I need to submit a ScoreCard or complete an application for each location?
If all of you locations are following the same program there is no need to complete more than one ScoreCard or application.
Do I need to be a CPBGH member to apply?
Being a CPBGH member is not a requirement to apply.
Does my company need to be headquartered in Central PA?
No, your company does not need to headquartered in Central PA. When you are completing the application, please only include information relevant to employees who work in Central PA.
We are a third party vendor. Are we able to apply?
Yes! This year we are including a separate category for third party vendors. When completing the application, select "Best Employee Wellness Program Managed by a Third Party Vendor."
How are applications judged?
Applications are judged in their entirety. Having a high score on your ScoreCard, while important, is not the only factor considered when selecting a winner. We are looking for thoughtful and in depth responses to the questions in the application, as well as innovation and ingenuity within the program.
What can I do to make my application stand out?
Be as detailed as possible. The ScoreCard does not give us the complete picture of your program. Also, make sure to include measurable results in your application. This will show the effectiveness of your program.
